The Emergency Operations Center is located in the basement of the County Jail.

EOC has many roles. It houses the 911 communications center which dispatches emergency calls for all entities in the county, 911 addressing for new homes, and conduct flood plain inventory making sure the county residents are in compliance with county flood plain ordinance. Emergency drills are also performed here in conjunction with FEMA and SEMA.
