Welcome to the Recorders office. The Recorder is responsible for keeping all Land Records, Marriage/ Death certificates, Mortgages, Releases, Plats, Surveys, , etc. On January 1st 1996 all records were indexed and scanned into a computer. The records are microfilmed and sent to the State Archives for backup and safe keeping.
